Self Experiences in Group

Thirteen papers from group therapists in the US and Europe apply the principles of self psychology and intersubjectivity theory to groups. Several authors note the influence of Heinz Kohut, the late founder of self psychology, discussing his fears regarding certain kinds of clinical groups, and his concepts of twinship and of the dynamics of the group self.
